Now that we have a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policy in our school, what can we do with these devices?  This presentation will guide participants in designing instructional materials that effectively use cell phones, tablets, and Chromebooks.  Participants will learn how to use web based tools such as Polleverywhere, Socrative, and Quizlet to create quizzes, review games, interactive polls and discussions that engage students’ attention while using their own cell phones for constructive activities.  Further, participants will learn how to create teacher and student podcasts and vodcasts (audio and video recordings) for various projects.  Finally, participants will learn how to create and scan QR codes that bring traditional learning materials (worksheets, books, etc.) into a more engaging digital atmosphere with student cell phones and tablets.
