You're invited to an upcoming Spring 2015 Webinar Series brought to you by the Education Technologies and Emerging Media Faculty at Canisius College:

Using Google Forms to Reduce Paperwork
Presented by Mr. Rob Zdrojewski
Thursday, April 23, 2015 4:30pm - 5:30pm EDT
Learn how to use Google Forms to conduct surveys, administer quizzes and more. Google Forms is integrated into the Google Drive suite of apps, which makes it a perfect fit for collecting data on a large or small scale. All of your results are then collected within a spreadsheet, making it simple to rearrange your data and keep track of results. Before you pay for a service like SurveyMonkey, check out what Google Forms has to offer for free!
Thursday, April 30, 2015  4:00pm - 5:00pm EDT
This session will give participants an overview of the free digital tools associated with Google Drive. Participants will learn how to create documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and forms using Google products that allow students to work collaboratively on documents and presentations in real time from any location. The session will also introduce participants to Google Classroom which facilitates teacher sharing and assessment of student work produced using Google Apps.
Presented by Jason Steinagle
Thursday, May 7, 2015  4:00pm - 5:00pm EDT
"Back" flipping is a unique learning strategy where students help each other review for the assessment. They conduct research, create videos using Snagit, and then post their work to Google Classroom. This lesson develops literacy skills and allows for peer instruction which aligns to the Common Core. This session will focus on using Google Drive, Snagit for Chrome, and Google Classroom to facilitate this unique approach to flipped learning.
